One event, every angle

Everyone at the wedding, road trip, birthday or concert drops their photos and videos into a single shared Memory, so nothing lives on one person's camera roll.

A private, invite-only timeline

Memories are shared only with the people invited to them. No public feed, no algorithm, no strangers.

Story posts and chat

Group chats, direct messaging and story-style posts keep the conversation attached to the photos instead of scattered across texts.

How it was built

From a sentence to the stores

    Described the app

    The team wrote plain sentences: a shared album where invited friends post photos, videos and short stories to one timeline for a single event.

  2. 2

    Ran it on a real phone

    Instead of guessing from a simulator, they plugged in a phone and pressed Run on Phone after each change, so the feed, uploads and playback were tested on the real device from day one.

  3. 3

    Connected the backend

    Accounts, invites, media storage and the shared timeline are backed by a real database with per-user access rules, connected from inside the SnapApp desktop app.

  4. 4

    Published to both stores

    Capsule went through Apple review and Google Play's closed testing requirement, and now ships regular updates: chapter group chats, direct messaging, video in chat and a feed redesign.
